I used a fun new technique on this card that I'm pretty excited about too: You ink up the flat side of the Cuttlebug embossing folder with a brayer, put your cardstock in and run it through your Big Shot (or Cuttlebug) like usual, and waa laa...you have colored embossed paper with the raised swirl (or whatever design) that isn't colored. (Does that make sense?) I used Stampin' Up!'s "Plenty of Petals" embossing folder for this card. You can't tell by looking at the picture that it's embossed, but in person you can see the flowers raised up white, and the background red. Cool, huh?
If you'd like to play along with us, upload your card to SCS or a personal blog and be sure and drop a note on the Whimsical Wednesdays blog and leave a link to your creation. And don't forget to check out the wonderful works of the other Dare Devils. They always do fantastic work. Their links are on the right hand column.
Have a fabulous week!
